Anita Nijboer

Anita Nijboer is one of the founders of ARROW Advocaten.

With more than 20 years of experience as an environmental and planning law attorney, she has built up an impressive track record.
Anita advises and litigates in general administrative law and environmental and planning law (spatial planning, environment, nature conservation, soil protection, air quality, water, and sustainability). She guides public authorities, project developers, and housing associations through complex area development projects and the realization of housing, office buildings, and factories.

Anita has previously acted for both the national government and municipalities in the realization of large-scale projects, including the construction of offshore wind farms in the North Sea (within the Exclusive Economic Zone – EEZ), the construction of highways, and the development of large-scale business parks (XXL parks).

Anita has extensive experience fully guiding permitting processes within the industrial sector, from initiative through to realization. In doing so, she engages and directs specialized technical experts in fields including fire safety, explosion hazards, environmental impact, waste processing, soil, water, and nature.

She is actively involved in innovative sustainability projects, including new technical applications and experiments for which no existing regulations yet apply. It is precisely in this pioneering phase that she provides legal structure and certainty.
